The Lightweight Better Sweater Jacket by Patagonia is a reliable midlayer for chilly weather, and an ideal outer layer in the warmer months of the year.
Made from motion-friendly stretch material and cut with an athletic regular fit, it’s got the technical credentials to serve you well in the great outdoors, but it’s just as suitable for the cosy indoors.
Wear it up a mountain or on a brisk walk; wear it to the office or for running errands. Given its minimalistic design and the classic black colourway, it’ll always look the part. The exterior of the fleece has a sweater-knit face, while the interior has a soft brushed back, feeling fuzzy on the inside. The exterior of the stretchy side panels is smooth to the touch.
With four zippered pockets (two hand ones and two chest ones), you’ll have plenty of space for your href=' style='font-weight: 400;'>EDC and any bits and bobs. The no-nonsense full zip down the jacket’s middle allows you to bundle up and trap heat when it’s nippy, and then cool down and self-ventilate whenever needed.
As you might expect from Patagonia, this is not only a functional item, but an eco-friendly one also, with bluesign-approved credentials to prove its sustainability. Every part of the jacket, except the zipper teeth, is made from recycled materials:
- The main body: 7.2-oz polyester fleece, 100% recycled
- The stretchy side panels: 5.4-oz polyester fleece, 100% recycled
- The binding at the collar, cuffs and hem: elastane, 100% recycled
On top of the ethical materials, the Lightweight Better Sweater is Fair Trade Certified sewn – meaning that the people who made it have been paid and treated fairly.
Our model is 6ft tall, with a 38' chest, and wears a size Medium.
